| Annually CMS (Consolidated
Medicaid/Medicare Services) enterprise users
are required to certify their current system
access. Each user completes this certification
process with a form. After this form is
processed by the Security Department, the
user’s access is extended for another
12 months.
If the end user does not reconcile his access by a specified date then the end user's access to CMS system is revoked. CMS users are also required to complete a training session annually known as “Computer Based Training” (CBT). If CBT training is not completed on an annual basis their access to CMS enterprise is revoked. This product will help CMS users to renew their system access & CBT Training session through Control-SA Passport. |

| This product processes an input file of Production IDs in related platforms with reset dates and then resets the password of each Production ID (RSS/Managed System users) with a randomly generated password. It will also print this new password in a sealed envelope after resetting the password. |
| Control SA provides the
user a facility to change passwords using
Passport, which works in conjunction with
Enterprise Security Station. Passport provides
a web-based interface to the users to change
the password. Once the password is changed
via Passport, it will be updated on all
platforms where the respective user accounts
exist.
Lotus Notes uses ID Files to store the
authentication credentials of a user account.
These ID Files can be detached and copied
to other machines also. But Control SA
requires Lotus Notes ID Files to be stored
in a central repository. In a scenario
where Lotus Notes ID Files exists on the
local machines of the respective users,
the ID File on the local machine has to
be synchronized with the one on the central
repository once the password is changed. |
