BANGALORE:
ILANTUS, a provider of Identity Management
(IdM) and user provisioning solutions, today
announced the setting up of their Global
BMC Identity Management Competency Centre
in Bangalore.
The center will focus on
IdM technologies like Web Access Control,
MIIS based IdM Solution, Control SA and
Calendra Workflow solution for IdM. As a
novel area, compliance and regulatory requirements
will form a part of the new technologies
to be researched at the centre. The Global
BMC Identity Management Competence Center
will be the first of its kind worldwide
to work exclusively on IdM technologies.
ILANTUS and BMC propose to
hire up to 100 specialists for the center.
The centre will provide solutions to all
geographies and will produce intellectual
property based on BMC technology. Established
in 2000, ILANTUS has carved out a niche
by implementing over 90 projects globally
of its strategic and technological partner,
BMC Software.
Speaking on the establishment
of the centre, ILANTUS CEO, Binod Singh
said, "We aim to develop the cutting
edge solutions that will help businesses
optimize and secure their access management
processes. We see the competency centre
being a resource that ILANTUS and BMC can
harness to make tomorrow's identity solutions
today"
George Sam, BMC Global Practice,
will head the center. Speaking on the expertise
of ILANTUS and the technology pursued at
the Center, Sam said "It's been a pleasure
working with ILANTUS for the competency
center. This will be an exciting place to
work in with all the current developments
in IdM."
Identity Management has great
growth potential in India as markets evolve.
IDC predicts the India Identity & Access
Management market to grow at 29.2%CAGR to
about US$ 23.8 million by 2009. |
