IAM Audit
Services
Identity and Access Management is one of the
most important initiatives that a number of organizations
worldwide have already embarked on or are in the
process of embarking on. IAM is one of the complex
solution to be implemented as it impacts every
part of the organization and
- Involves lot of process re-engineering
- Custom Integration Solution
- User Awareness and acceptance
- Heterogeneity of the platforms
involved
- Scope of implementation
To address the above complex, organizations typically
embark on a phased approach to implementation
so that low hanging fruits of the initiative are
realized on an immediate basis. However due the
dynamic nature of the industry, technology involved,
merger and acquisitions technology implementations
have to keep pace with these changes. This in
turns mean that while organizations continue to
focus on enhancing the existing implementation,
they also have to keep revisiting the implemented
solution and assess the same with reference to
the changing nature of the business dynamics and
the complexity of the implementation that is continuing
on an ongoing basis. This is turn requires in
depth domain skills on Identity and Access Management,
ability to keep pace with advances in the domain
and best practices on how gaps can be identified
and addressed almost on an immediate basis.
IAM Audit Services from ILANTUS is aimed to enable
organizations to assess their IAM Infrastructure
implemented or in the process of being implemented
on a periodic basis to ensure that the infrastructure
is capable of addressing the business dynamics.
Specifically the service addresses the following
questions
- Is the IAM solution implemented/being
implemented delivering optimally?
- Is the IAM solution scaling
as planned?
- How do I integrate the IAM
solution with the IAM solution of the acquired
company?
- How do I enhance the IAM
solution with new functionality?
- How do I enhance the performance
of the IAM solution?
- Is the solution meeting compliance
requirements?
ILANTUS would do a comprehensive audit of the
existing IAM infrastructure. During this process
key stakeholders/owners would be interviewed.
ILANTUS would also assess the requirements/design
for the IAM solution when it was designed and
compare the same against the needs/scenarios of
the present day. At the end of the assignment,
ILANTUS will propose specific recommendations
on how to enhance, scale and integrate the existing
IAM infrastructure to better meet the business
needs of today.
The Audit will be based on the best practices
developed by ILANTUS and the rich domain experience
ILANTUS possesses in IAM. This Audit would typically
be done on an annual basis.
